Sunday ride with sunday drivers..

Hills was the ingrediant for this ride i rode to the base of wat we call heartbreak hill which at the top you turn left and then ride big bertha..

i measured it with gps on my phone(prob not accruate) 1.9km bout 90m elevation.

it has been freshly graded with higher water bars all 14 of them..and after a week of rain it was very sticky and soft it felt like you were riding with a flat back tyre but conquered it all. on the last of 3 i rode big bertha in the granny because it race conditions thats how you would tackle it.. not to convinced it made it easier..

charlie was not having fun getting lost and pushing her bike up these hills so we headed for home.. how about kincumber mountain... sweet i say lets go.. some sketchy descents on our way, trying to prepare for dirtworks the best i/we can...

a long road climb to the top then chose the dirtroad down the otherside over the single track.. at the bottom my day turned to shit..

Rolled down the tar towards terrigal red light at the bottom at charles kay another very hard climb. we round the corner and then this stationwagon came very close to clipping me..(theres 2 lanes so easy just to move over) so i gave him the finger... he then pulls up in the middle of the road.. ding ding round one.. so i rode past and called him something and gave him my trademark slap ya side mirror greeting, then i hear the engine rev, i look at my back tyre and his all over it i stomp on the big dog to try to get away 10pumps and his still there,, shit i need to get out of here or im gone a quick look over my right shoulder clear so i dart into head on traffic the one car makes so effort into adverting hitting me i end up power sliding into the gutter and was thrown onto the grass.. i pick my self up(oh im fired up now) the driver has pulled over and charlie is all up in his face which looked great with being a foot taller and 2foot wider then her..lots of abuse was delivered both ways for like 5mins..i actually smashed his mirror( my left hook must be getting stronger) we parted and he still gave us shit wen driving by.. with fear in the blood and anger in the legs we both rode the hill pretty quick..

i really wana ride more by commuting i just dont feel lucky enough to make it thru each day..

ps the pic is view from the top of kincumber mountain..

just chops:)

  5. No wonder so many drivers have negative views on riders.. please show some restraint. Sure there are wankers on the road but it proves nothing but justification when you retaliate!
